Abstract

Electroplating (Electroplating) is a coating using the help of electric current through the electrolyte liquid. The workpiece to be electroplating is a conductor or an object that can conduct an electric current. Electroplating becomes one of the coating media that is often applied in the industrial world. With relatively inexpensive and easy-to-obtain equipment, as well as electroplating conditions can be run at atmospheric temperatures making electroplating is often used in the industrial world. Compared to other coatings using expensive equipment and considerable expenses. at the time of electroplating at 10 minutes and 20 minutes with a thickness of 0.02 grams and 0.04. Visible differences in thickness when there are variations of time. Based on table 1 in the nickel plating experiment it can be seen that the time difference during dyeing can affect the yield of nickel plating, where each time the experiment with a long time will be thicker layer.
