Dampak Kecemasan Matematika terhadap Pembelajaran: Kajian Literatur Psikologi Matematika

Kecemasan matematika merupakan sebuah fenomena psikologis yang sering dihadapi siswa saat proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak kecemasan matematika terhadap pembelajaran serta faktor-faktor penyebabnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur dengan metode analisis konten kualitatif dengan menelaah hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang relevan berjumlah 25 artikel. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kecemasan matematika menimbulkan dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah, pemahaman konsep, dan prestasi belajar matematika. Faktor penyebab kecemasan matematika meliputi persepsi negatif terhadap matematika, rendahnya self efficacy, situasi pembelajaran yang tidak kondusif, tekanan dari lingkungan sosial, dan kompleksitas materi. Sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi kecemasan ini, disarankan penerapan pembelajaran berbasis scaffolding, pengaitan materi matematika dengan kehidupan nyata, dan penciptaan lingkungan pembelajaran yang suportif. Diharapkan dengan temuan ini dapat membantu siswa, guru, dan orang tua dalam memahami dan mengatasi kecemasan matematika untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran.
