PENGARUH MACAM MULSA ORGANIK DAN FREKUENSI PENYIANGAN TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN KEDELAI (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) VAR. GROBOGAN
Abstract
Research on the effect of various types of organic mulch and the frequency of weeding on the yield of soybean (Glycine max, (L.) Merrill) var. Grobogan was begun from October to December 2018. The research was conducted in Banyuwangi Village, Bandongan District, Magelang Regency, altitude 400 m above sea level, with Regosol soil type and soil pH 6.0. The research method was a factorial experiment arranged in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) with 3 replications. The first factor was the type of organic mulch i.e, paddy straw and paddy straw ash. The second factor was the weed frequency i.e, without weed (control), 1 time, 2 times, and 3 times weeding. The paddy straw mulch gave the highest yield on the parameters of 1000 dry seeds weight at 210.32 g. Three times of weeding frequency (2, 4, and 6 week after planting) increased dry seeds weight per m2 by 167.21 g. The combination of giving various types of organic mulch and various weeding frequencies resulted very significant effect on the weight parameters of 1000 dry seeds.
