PERANAN KONSENTRASI POC DARAH SAPI DAN JENIS PUPUK KALIUM PADA PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAWANG MERAH VARIETAS BATU IJO
Abstract
The Batu Ijo Shallot variety is a plant commodity that has high commercial value. The Batu Ijo Shallot variety is a Shallot variety that is resistant to upland land and high rainfall. Increased productivity can be done through the effectiveness of fertilization. In striving for higher production must pay attention of soil sustainability. Shallots are fertilized using Liquid Organic Fertilizer from cow's blood waste and the addition of K fertilizer, Potassium Sulfate and KNO3 to obtain maximum growth and yield. This study aims to determine the effect of the Liquid Organic Fertilizer of cow's blood and the addition of K fertilizers, namely Potassium Sulfate and KNO3 as the tuber formation day approaches. This research was carried out from April to June 2023 which is located in the rice fields of Tlogorejo Village, Temanggung District, Temanggung Regency. The altitude of the study site is 665 meters above sea level, the temperature is between 20 - 30 °C, soil pH is 6 - 7 with an average rainy day of 64 days and the amount of rainfall is 3,106 mm / year. The study used a factorial design (2x5) which was arranged in a completely randomized block design with 3 replications as blocks. The first factor was Liquid Organic Fertilizer of Cow’s Blood with concentrations of 0, 10, 20, 30 and 40 mL/L and the second factor was K fertilizers are Potassium Sulfate and KNO3. The results of the analysis showed that the addition of Liquid Organic Fertilizer of cow's blood concentration of 40 mL/L had a get the most number of shallots clumping bulbs. The addition of Potassium Sulfate and KNO3 fertilizers did not show a significant effect on plant height and Shallot bulbs produced.
