PENGARUH PRODUKSI BERAS, IMPOR BERAS, DAN KONSUMSI BERAS TERHADAP HARGA BERAS DI INDONESIA TAHUN 2000-2018

Abstract

Indonesia is an area that has very good potential in the agricultural sector, according to BPS data, it states that the area of rice fields in 2018 is 7.1 million hectares. So that Indonesia at the international level is one of the largest producers and consumers of rice under China. So it becomes an irony when from year to year the price of rice in Indonesia continues to increase. In 2000-2018 the price of rice in Indonesia always went up even though rice production had fluctuated. This research is quantitative descriptive. The data in this study use secondary data published by the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Ministry of Agriculture. The data analysis technique used time series data analysis with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that: (1) the rice production variable partially has a significant effect on the price of rice in Indonesia during 2000-2018; (2) The rice import variable partially does not have a significant effect on the price of rice in Indonesia during 2000-2018; (3) The rice consumption variable partially does not have a significant effect on the price of rice in Indonesia during 2000-2018; (4) The variables of rice production, rice imports and rice consumption together have a significant effect on rice prices in Indonesia during 2000-2018.
