This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and economic growth on the unemployment rate in Central Java. This research was conducted using secondary data for the period 2000-2020 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) using descriptive analysis research with a quantitative approach. The population and sample in this study were Central Java Province because the subject of this study was the effect of economic growth and inflation on the unemployment rate in Central Java Province in 2000-2020. This study resulted in the inflation rate variable having a positive and insignificant effect on open unemployment. or real national income. The results of this study state that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, which means that the Inflation Rate has no significant effect on open unemployment in Central Java Province in 2000-2020. Taken together, there is an effect of economic growth and the inflation rate together. the same as the number of open unemployment in Central Java Province in the Year 2000-2020References
